The Pearse Lyons Distillery is open seven days a week. With the first tours starting at 11:00 a.m. and the last tour starting at 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, the first tour starts at 12:00 p.m. Tours operate on an hourly basis. Pearse Lyons Distillery is closed December 24-26 and Jan 1.

Pearse Lyons Distillery is located in Dublin 8 on James’s Street. You can use Google Maps by entering EirCode D08ET27. Our Visitor Centre address is 121 – 122 James’s Street, Dublin 8, D08ET27, Ireland.

We are conveniently located on one of Dublin’s main thoroughfares and serviced by Dublin’s Hop On and Hop Off buses. 

By Bus: Dublin Bus route numbers 13, G1, G2, S2, and 123 each serve Pearse

Lyons Distillery, stopping on James’s St. Take the 13/123 from O’Connell St., D’Olier St. or Dame St. Take the G1/G2 from the Quays. Buses run every 10-15 minutes. 

By Tram: The nearest Tram/Luas stop on the red line is St. James’s/James’s Street. 

Hop On, Hop Off Buses: The distillery is serviced by Big Bus. 

The distillery is a five minute walk from The Guinness Storehouse.

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We have a limited number of spaces on each tour and often sell out in advance. You can purchase a ticket from our website, using the Book Now button.

Yes, you can arrive at the distillery without a booking however we cannot guarantee availability, particularly at peak times. We will do our best to book you onto the next available tour. Our online booking system allows you to see availability of tickets and book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Whiskey Tour & Tasting Experience is approximately 60 minutes including the tasting.

Yes, all of our tours are fully guided in English with our local storytellers. 

Yes, children are welcome to accompany you on a tour. Children under the age of 10 are free of charge. Those aged 11 to 17 are charged €10 per child. At the tasting bar, children are offered soft drinks and juices while you enjoy your Pearse Irish Whiskey.

Yes, under Irish law customers must be 18 and over to enjoy alcohol responsibly. Identification will be requested upon entry if you are lucky enough to look younger than 25 years of age.

Yes, we can offer tours in French and German for groups of 20 or more when booked well in advance. For individuals, we have QR codes where you can download a language guide to accompany you on your tour.

Yes, we offer a discount of 10% for a group of 15+. Groups of 10 or more can be booked in advance by contacting our reservations team on +353 1 691 6000 or email info@pearselyonsdistillery.com

We are currently renovating our distillery bar, once opened we’ll be able to offer tasting.

Yes, we can reschedule you but we need to know at least four hours in advance of your tour so we can resell the tickets as we have limited spaces on each tour. To reschedule, please contact our reservations team on +353 1 691 6000 or email info@pearselyonsdistillery.com

If you arrive up to 10 minutes after your tour time, we will try our best to have you catch up with the tour. If you arrive after this time, unfortunately you will not be able to join the tour but we will do our very best to accommodate you on the next available tour. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.

Yes, we sell gift cards from our visitor centre reception. Each card is treated like cash so the recipient can use it against an experience, items in the gift shop or even in our Tea Room for a bite to eat.

There is on-street parking for cars along James’s Street and Echlin Street. There is a multi storey car park available on Thomas St. Coachs can use the setdown area outside the main distillery gates to drop visitors off and then move on to coach parking at Guinness Storehouse or along the Quays.
